I have been at the pound since DECEMBER 2010! THAT IS A REALLY LONG TIME!!!! I am a very unique combo of Sheppard/Pittie and Choc Lab...if you saw me in person, you would agree:) I am SO CUTE in person. I am a favorite of one of the ACO's and he spoils me with treats and time out of my cage. I am so sweet and adorable that the ACO's are holding out hoping that someone will recognize what a special dog I am. There is something about me that keeps them from letting me go.... (Read More)the deep expressive eyes. When I smile it is ear to ear!! I LOVE people. I am a INCREDIBLY LOVING animal. I am absolutely desperate to give love and be a good dog. I am smart and VERY attentive to my person, I am begging for someone to tell me what to do!! I want to learn and be part of a family. I ONLY LIKE MALE DOGS. I am an alpha female. I need a little time to get to know my male friends but then I am eager to see them and silly and playful when we hang out. I am a dog that was never taught how to properly introduce myself to my doggie friends so I can be insecure and nervous which is why a slow introduction is needed. If I had an owner who helped me learn these skills and built up my confidence I could be an excellent playmate. I really need someone to give me a chance. I have been waiting so long and the kennel is starting to get to me. The most relaxed and happy I am is after I have been outside and played a little with a doggie friend, Companionship soothes me. I am so lonely, I would be the most grateful companion. I have been waiting a very long time for the right person to come along. PLEASE, will you rescue me?
